TOWNSEND, GREER ENTER THE LION FIGHT DEN

LION FIGHT has bolstered its women’s flyweight division with the signing of multi-time champion “Lil” Kim Townsend.

The 32-year-old from Brisbane, Australia, intends on immediately making an impact as she goes in pursuit of current champions including Lisa Brierley and Amy Pirnie.

“I am so excited to be signed by Lion Fight and very grateful to be given this opportunity,” said Townsend.

“I cannot wait to showcase my skills and our Aussie fighting spirit by becoming the champion of such a prestigious promotion.”

Townsend (36-6) has captured numerous titles and earned notable wins throughout her career, including a TKO victory at Bangala Stadium in Thailand as well as decision verdicts over both Cindy Silvestre and Grace Spicer.

LION FIGHT also added to its stable of fighters with the signing of Ian Greer to a multi-fight contract. A middleweight from Egan, Minnesota, Greer has made a name for himself with his recent exploits in Thailand. Dubbed “Little Crash” by his Thai coaches, Greer now sports a 5-1 record after going 3-0 in Thailand during 2020, highlighted by a third-round knockout win at the Santai Festival in Chiang Mai.
