As plans begin to take shape for a hotly anticipated return to action, Lion Fight, a worldwide leader in Muay Thai, is excited to announce that the organization has signed two of the best young stars from the United Kingdom.
Scotland’s Nico Carrillo and England’s George Jarvis have both agreed to multi-fight deals with exclusivity to Lion Fight for bouts in North America beginning in 2021. The pair previously made their promotional debuts with Lion Fight – both coming away with decisive victories. For Carrillo, his win at Lion Fight 59 in Sweden last August has propelled him into the top contender spot to face reigning Lion Fight World Super Lightweight champion Ramesh “The Headhunter” Habib.
“I believe I can beat anyone on the roster and anyone who may come,” said an ultra-confident Carrillo. “I will be the face of Lion Fight and the new fan favorite in the United States. I can’t wait to show the American fight fans what I can do.”
A 21-year-old native of Glasgow, Carrillo sports a 16-3 professional record which includes his victory over Kenny Hong in Gothenburg followed by a TKO verdict against Gorka Caro.
Jarvis is just 20 years old but has already put together a 9-1 professional record, highlighted by a national championship that he earned last year.
Hailing from Crawley, England, Jarvis arrived on the Lion Fight scene at the prestigious Lion Fight 50 event at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in November 2018 where he notched a second-round TKO finish against Daniel Kim. Jarvis followed up that victory with two wins at home in England and another in Spain.
