There is one lineup change and two bouts added to Lion Fight’s first-ever event in Glasgow, Scotland – Lion Fight 68 coming up on Sunday, August 22 and airing exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS®, the world’s leading streaming service for combat sports.

The inaugural Lion Fight European Super Lightweight title bout has been forced into a change with Pok Biil unable to compete due to illness. Stepping in to face Ireland’s Craig Coakley (21-4) for the belt is flashy Brit Paul “The Magician” Karpowicz. A former British champion and hailing from Manchester, Karpowicz has faced off against numerous top fighters including former Lion Fight World Super Lightweight champion Tetsuya Yamoto.

The LF68 main card has seen the addition of two bouts, rounding out the six-bout lineup topped by Glasgow’s own Amy Pirnie defending her Lion Fight Women’s Super Flyweight title against Spain’s Lara Fernandez.

In newly announced middleweight clash, rising British star George Jarvis (9-2), who debuted at Lion Fight 50 in Los Angeles, will take on veteran Brazilian Victor Chagas (87-28). Chagas, who is making his Lion Fight debut, is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but now fights out of the Leeds, England. The 35-year-old is a former Pattaya Stadium Fight Night champion.

A super welterweight matchup featuring Scotland’s Alex MacGregor (34-9-2) will open the Lion Fight 68 card on UFC Fight Pass. MacGregor’s original opponent has been sidelined and a replacement will be announced shortly. MacGregor’s promotional debut comes not far from his home town of Edinburgh, and the 26-year-old has been on a tear of late with wins in four of his last five, including a fourth-round TKO of Jack Cooper.

The Lion Fight 68 main card will be proceeded by a full lineup of prelims in conjunction with our partner promotion Rebellion.
