Lion Fight announces updates for upcoming events on UFC Fight Pass
LION FIGHT CEO Scott Kent announced a pair of updates today for Lion Fight 64 and Lion Fight 65, both of which will be live-streamed exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS®, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.
New opponent for champion Walker

The main event for Lion Fight 64 will now feature double-champion Steve “Put ‘Em To Sleep” Walker defending his North American Super Cruiserweight championship against Brian “The Lion” Collette. That bout tops the Lion Fight 64 card set for Friday, March 12 at Memorial Hall in Hutchinson, Kansas. The event also features the first-ever Lion Fight North American Heavyweight title tournament with a pair of semi-final matchups. Top-seeded Cody “The Freight Train” East will take on veteran Warren “Destroyer” Thompson in one semi-final, with the other pitting crowd favorite “Bazooka” Joe Stripling against newcomer Terrance “El Jefe” Hodges.
Walker (8-0), who is also the Lion Fight World Super Cruiserweight champion, was set to defend his North American title against Marcus Sursa, but Sursa had to pull out due to a shoulder injury. The 33-year-old Collette, who fights out of Virginia Beach, Virginia, brings a 27-5 overall record into the bout.
Additional bouts on the Lion Fight 64 card feature Kansas’ own Cody “Black Shark” Moberly matched up against Michael “Iron Boy” Triana in a lightweight feature, an all-Kansas super middleweight showdown as “Half Ass” Chance Thackston goes up against Cody Carrillo, and a women’s flyweight encounter with Andy “The CrAsian” Nguyen facing “The Lovely” Crystal Van Wyk.

LF65 moving to Kansas
Kent also announced that Lion Fight 65 will now take place at the Tony’s Pizza Event Center in Salina, Kansas.
The event was set to feature North American Welterweight champion Josh Aragon in a title defense, but Aragon has been sidelined due to a non-COVID related illness. A new main event along with the remaining main card bouts as well as ticket information for Lion Fight 65 will be announced shortly.
Lion Fight 64 and 65 are promoted in partnership with Never Surrender.
