LION FIGHT ADDS THAI & BRITISH CHAMPIONS TO ROSTER

Continuing to bolster its international stable of athletes in preparation for a busy 2021 campaign, LION FIGHT has signed three new competitors, each of whom brings a high level of excitement and top-end talent to the roster.

A pair of outstanding Thai fighters are amongst the new members of the Lion Fight den – welterweight Pok Biil (Surachai Sosom) and super middleweight Kwangtung Realfighter. They are joined by highly sought-after English lightweight Niamh Kinehan. All three have signed multi-fight contracts with Lion Fight and will make the organizational debuts in 2021 with LION FIGHT on UFC FIGHT PASS®.

“Our roster of talent keeps getting better and better, and these three fighters will certainly have a great opportunity to make their mark with us next year,” said Scott Kent, CEO of LION FIGHT.

Pok (47-14-4) has a World title under his belt along with two Grand Prix titles, including the 2019 King of Kings tournament. Pok is now fighting out of Helsinki, Finland, where is a seven-time running national champion.

Kwangtung (64-35-1) recently reached the 100-fight plateau in his career, and the 29-year-old, who now makes his home in Sweden, has a notable collection of World and European championships in Muay Thai and K-1.

Kinehan began her Muay Thai journey at age five and turned pro after 90 amateur bouts. Fighting out of Wythenshawe, England, Kinehan (13-5-1) has won a pair of World titles, including the Muay Thai Grand Prix crown she claimed during her current five-fight winning streak.

“It is an honor to be asked to work with Lion Fight,” said Kinehan, whose winning ways have taken her to China, Thailand and France for matchups.

“I am looking forward to being the first British female in my division to conquer America and become the Lion Fight world champion.”
