Title fight set following Lion Fight 38 weigh-in

Regian “The Immortal” Eersel and Matous “The Mighty Rooster” Kohout will clash for the super middleweight world title as Lion Fight 38 is ready for launch following the official weigh-ins held today.

All bouts, including Eersel’s second title defense, are set to go for Lion Fight 38 which takes places on Friday, September 29 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

The six-bout main card airs live on AXS TV Fights in the United States as well as on Fight Network throughout Canada, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

In the main event, Eersel (46-4) puts his super middleweight belt on the line against Kohout (36-9), the last man to beat the reigning champion. Eersel, who hails from Amsterdam, Holland by way of Suriname, weighed in at 165 lbs., while Kohout, who fights out of Prague, Czech Republic, stepped off the scale at 166 lbs.
