Lion Fight Promotions announces exclusive partnership with Fairtex

Lion Fight Promotions, a worldwide leader in Muay Thai combat, is extremely proud to announce that the organization has formally signed a sponsorship agreement with legendary Muay Thai brand Fairtex.

Fairtex will be the official supplier of gloves for all Lion Fight live events with its sponsorship also featuring Fairtex logos on a new ring mat, ring ropes and corner pads.

“We are incredibly proud to be a major sponsor and the official supplier of gloves to Lion Fight,” said President Prem Fairtex.

“Lion Fight is a worldwide leader in Muay Thai, and as the elite manufacturer of Muay Thai gloves, this is a perfect union between our two brands. We are looking forward to seeing Lion Fight’s noble champions, rising stars, and dynamic prospects wearing Fairtex gloves.”

Fairtex’s enhanced sponsorship package will come to the forefront at the very next Lion Fight live event – Lion Fight 37 slated for Friday, July 28th at Foxwoods Resort Casino airing live on AXS TV Fights in the United States as well as Fight Network throughout Canada, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

“We are very pleased to partner with the premier Muay Thai promotion in the United States,” added Ted Okuno, President of Fairtex America.

“We are looking forward to working with Lion Fight and together helping the sport of Muay Thai grow.”

The partnership between the two brands is a perfect tie-in to Lion Fight’s growing reputation as a frontrunner in Muay Thai combat.

“Fairtex is the name when it comes to Muay Thai gloves, equipment and apparel, and having them team with Lion Fight further enhances our efforts to achieve massive international exposure,” said Scott Kent, President & CEO of Lion Fight.

“We have developed world-class fighters and brought in elite international talent to showcase Muay Thai at its very best. The partnership with Fairtex raises our worldwide brand recognition to the next level.”

Fairtex was founded by Philip Wong, who practiced Muay Thai as a hobby. Fairtex became the #1 brand in Thailand and Mr. Wong wanted to give back to the Thailand community. This was realized when a Fairtex Muay Thai camp in rural Bangplee, 25 km outside of Bangkok, was built. Fairtex was able to help young Thai men stay off the streets, stay off drugs and build a life through Muay Thai. Many of the innovations found in Fairtex’s products are a result of testing products for decades in the Bangplee camp.

Fairtex Bangplee Muay Thai Camp was one of the first camps in Thailand to allow foreigners and women to train Muay Thai. Mr. Wong was not satisfied with only having Muay Thai in Thailand, he wanted to bring Muay Thai to the USA. Mr. Wong established Muay Thai camps in Arizona and California in the 1990’s. Today, Fairtex products can be found throughout the world and are regarded as the best products on the market.
