Two of the world’s most dominant forces in Muay Thai combat sports are uniting for an explosive event.

Muay Thai Grand Prix (MTGP) and Lion Fight Promotions are teaming up with MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39 slated for Saturday, November 18 at the Indigo inside the famed O2 Arena in London, England.

This is the first time the partner promotions have combined to present what is sure to be an epic night of fights.

Tickets will be available shortly at AXS.com with broadcast details to follow.

“It will be a historic night of Muay Thai,” said Philip Tieu of Muay Thai Grand Prix. “This is a ground-breaking event that brings some of the best MTGP and Lion Fight together in some incredible matchups.”

MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39 marks Lion Fight’s first venture outside of the United States, and the excitement level for the upcoming show has hit an all-time high.

“Every single one of our fighters has asked to be a part of this show which is a testament to how big and how important MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39 is,” said Scott Kent, President & CEO of Lion Fight Promotions.

“This will be a spectacular show and the first of many joint events between MTGP and Lion Fight. We are already putting plans together for two partner shows in 2018 to showcase the two organizations’ very best talent.”

The main event marks the first title defense for Lion Fight cruiserweight champion Chip “The Surgeon” Moraza-Pollard (5-0) as he faces England’s own rising star Jordan Smith (12-0). The undefeated Moraza-Pollard claimed the belt in a thrilling five-round affair against Paul Banasiak at Lion Fight 37.

In the co-main event, the MTGP super featherweight title is at stake as current champ Jose “Pitbull” Varela of Portugal lines up across from challenger Keith McLachlan of Scotland.

More bouts for MTGP Presents Lion Fight 39 will be announced in the very near future.
